Cardboard and Segregation and Recycling
The degree to which waste is recycled has a major impact on the environment.
Recycling starts with proper segregation, and single-material packaging makes segregation very easy.

Cardboard and the Threat to Forests
The paper used to make cardboard is produced from recycled paper and wood mainly from periodic firebreaks. The production of cardboard packaging, contrary to some myths, is not a threat to forest areas - neither to the number of trees nor their volume. The paper industry uses rabbits. Most of this tree comes from sustainable cultivation carried out to FSC or similar standards.
